Just the Best..
“I tried to come up with a catchy review
title, about the hometown feeling and
commitment of this practice, or about
the super up-to-date equipment and
techniques that seems decades ahead
of most local practices, or about the
relaxing, lovely eating area but what
really counts is excellent.”

WELCOME!

Welcome to Ridge Family Dentistry of Basking Ridge. We are grateful for the opportunity to tell you
a little bit about our office. We work hard to stay on the cutting edge of dental technology, while
trying to maintain a “neighborhood” practice that is committed to knowing you as a person
as well as a patient.

We practice a full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry with expertise in tooth colored
fillings, bonding, porcelain veneers, single visit non-metal crowns, bridges, teeth whitening, and the
restoration of dental implants. As a true general practice, we are enthusiastic about treating
children and look forward to serving your entire family. Additionally, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is
available for our patients who are anxious about dental treatment.

After practicing in town for over 20 years in another location, we are very proud of our office
conveniently located in the center of downtown Basking Ridge. The natural wood and stone
interior is accented with works by local artists depicting favorite hiking, biking, and kayaking
destinations in the area (see link to photos of our office). This soothing atmosphere, combined with
the most advanced techniques and technologies insure your visit will be as pleasant and relaxing
as possible. We believe it is important that the environment in which we work reflects the quality
of care that you can expect from us.

Infection controls and universal precautions protect clients and staff alike. Everyone
benefits from rigorous infection control: you, your dentist, and the dental team. The cornerstone is
to follow procedures recommended by several federal agencies: the Occupational Safety & Health
Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Centers for Disease
Control (CDC). These measures include sterilization of all reusable equipment, including dental
hand pieces. We use an autoclave, a device that kills bacteria and viruses by steam, heat and
pressure.

Educationally, Drs. Witt and Kurdian attend courses and study clubs monthly throughout the year
which frequently include the entire staff. In addition to local courses, our Drs. attend the Spear
Center in Arizona for specialized training. We have hosted clinical consultants in our office for
hands-on training, and we have monthly in-services to review new procedures and technology. We
have an obligation to you to continually improve the quality of care we provide, and we believe that
consistent and ongoing education is the best way to achieve this goal. Additionally, it is imperative
that we return the investment you make in us in the form of better care for you. Consequently,
we would like to share a link which demonstrates a few of the advanced technologies that increase
the comfort and efficiency of dental care in our office. Please click here for a list of our
advanced technologies.

We hope this letter has helped you to better understand our desire to provide you with
the highest level of care available, in a comfortable environment, with the utmost attention
to your needs and concerns. Thank you for your interest in learning more about us, and we look
forward to meeting you soon.

Sincerely,

Joyce Signature
